Ice Barn is pleased to announce the launch of a partnership with Hamilton Ridge Academy to support young player’s athletic and academic dreams. Ice Barn’s ‘Hockey Academy’ will be available for the 2023-24 academic year.
Ages
Third through eighth graders are eligible for the academy.
When
The Hockey Academy will be open for the 2023-2024 school year.
Where
All on-ice training will be held at the Ice Barn and schooling will be run by Hamilton Ridge Academy at Roundtripper Sports Academy.
Classes
Academic classes will be held at Roundtripper Sports Academy.
Hockey Sessions
Hockey sessions will be held at Ice Barn.
Jerseys and Socks
Special 'Hockey Academy' jerseys and socks will be provided to those registered.

Standard Weeks: Tuesday/Thursday, on ice: 8:30a-9:30a
High-Performance Weeks: These are weeks that HRA does not have classes, giving us an opportunity to spend more time on the ice and do off-ice video sessions.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday On ice: 8:30a-9:30a, off ice 9:45a-11:00a (Video/Lunch)

212 Hockey Academy caters to players aiming to elevate their game to the highest level. Our experienced coaches have worked with NHL, AHL, NCAA Division 1 and USHL/NAHL athletes. Our 212 Hockey Academy schedule is designed to pair with Hamilton Ridge Academy. Players will need to register with Hamilton Ridge Academy.
